Overview:
The Lofts on Tenth is currently under development. It will be nestled in the heart of Noblesville, IN. This unique boutique community offers modern, luxurious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartment homes infused with historic charm and contemporary amenities. The complex groundbreaking started in the summer of 2020 with 21 spacious units with all the amenities you can think of. ORI won the bid to be the MDU internet provider with our managed wifi support.
Challenge:
In the summer of 2020, the first foundation stones of The Lofts on Tenth were laid, marking the inception of a luxurious residential project by renowned developers PT-17. Their vision of luxury was clear from the start: they intended to offer their future dwellers and commercial entities a place to live or work and an unparalleled internet experience that complements their refined lifestyle. They aspired to integrate the finest internet service possible into the fabric of the building.
However, they were also acutely aware of the challenges of delivering high-speed internet to every corner of a sprawling complex. The building’s urban location further complicated the issue, as conventional internet service providers needed help to meet the exacting standards of speed and reliability expected by modern urbanites.
Our team at ORI is deeply involved in the project, working in close collaboration with the developer and their construction ally, Radial Construction. Our shared objective is the meticulous network infrastructure design that seamlessly integrates with the building’s innovative architecture. In the competitive bidding process, we emerged as the chosen vendor based on the strength of our services and our competitive pricing model tailored explicitly for The Lofts on Tenth.
ORI’s Solution:
Before the commencement of construction, ORI engaged in meticulous collaboration with both the builder and the contractor. The purpose of this alliance was to guarantee the flawless installation of wiring across the property. This ambitious project sought to ensure that managed WiFi6 permeated every corner of the building, from individual units to shared spaces. The managed WIFI included:
- The grand lobby.
- State-of-the-art fitness center.
- Ambient coffee bar.
- Dedicated work-from-home lounge.
- High-tech conference rooms.
- The relaxing outdoor lounge.
- All commercial spaces within the premises.
The strategic blueprint ORI laid out involves designing and deploying a cloud-managed system and switches. The heart of the internet infrastructure will be a robust 10Gb fiber connection, with a 1Gb Fiber-to-the-Unit (FTTU) system serving each residence. This technology empowers residents to experience ultra-fast internet connectivity, boasting upload and download speeds of up to 1 Gbps. This is complemented by establishing a guest WiFi network to facilitate temporary internet access for visitors and potential tenants.
In addition to traditional battery backup systems, all networking hardware is fueled by a dedicated site generator. This ensures a constant internet connection and WiFi calling facilities, even during a power outage, thereby promising an uninterrupted digital experience for all inhabitants.
The Results:
This project is currently still under construction. This project is estimated to be finalized in the next six months.
